Cartoonist Evan Burse has the opportunity in this art tutorial to meet with the legendary Mark Crilley for something very special. Mark draws two characters of his from two different seasons together as a rare picture just for Burse (He draws Miki from ‘Miki Falls’ and Brody from ‘Brody’s Ghost).
With his usual quick style and relentless accuracy Crilley takes to the drawing with a series of loose sketch lines before continuing with a heavier line to complete the finished pencil sketch. Needless the result is fantastic and I’m sure any fan of his and his comics will be very happy too. A must watch for any Mark Crilley fan and potential anime or manga illustrator.
And just in case you were wondering here is a list of materials Mark Crilley uses in all of his manga work…So get kitted out.
