Shane Turner shares with us, one of his many vibrant pictures that captures your imagination and shows of the beauty of the female form that emerges from his master pieces.
Shane Turner for me is not afraid to stand out in the crowd. All of his artwork use bold colours and he is not afraid to experiment either.
He first started painting as a child, but not until he reached the age of 16, did he take it seriously. He drew figures from comics and tried to copy ads from magazines also.
His inspiration has always been around the female form. He decided to try and come up with new ways to paint to show off this life form. One area was to develop a dripping painting. It was harder than he thought, never mind trying to shape it in such a way that by staring at the picture your eyes would be able to see a woman within all the lines and different colours splashed about
He has studied many magazines and fashion magazines, so it comes as no surprise that he uses sunglasses in his paintings. It is a concept that works well.
Music plays a big part in his work when he is creating his videos. He likes to feel the music, and connect the picture and music together. Something that he has done very well here. It is something that I actually do myself. When selecting tutorials, is to ensure that the music and painting, or other types or creations fit well together and gel.
I really like his work and the clever imagery that he has produced here.
