    1. wow i made a face but i found it hard to get the lips right my uni tutor told me it was good but not as good as this. question, is the head solid clay or more of a shell and did you let it dry a bit before adding the features? also she looks a bit like belle from beauty and the beast.

    2. Hello, I can tell you obviously know a lot probably so I’ll ask you, does everything we sculpt have to be hollowed and fired in a kiln? I’ve taken ceramics and one sculpture class and we learned that but wasn’t sure if everything has to be. I really want to sculpt but I have no kiln and don’t have money to just spend on using a shop’s kiln. I know in Ceramics you can do pit firing. Is that possible here?

    3. I know this is an old video but I just happened to stumble upon it.. beautifully crafted! I had two questions tho’.. 1) what type of clay do you use for sculpting? how long do you typically have before the clay gets hard? 2) once your design or sculpture is completed, do you spray it with a sealant for longevity? tfs!

    4. does it feel like magic, being able to bring something out or that kind of medium? Because there was a moment there where I was a bit spellbound. I can’t imagine what it feels like to see something like that taking form under your fingertips.

    5. your work is beautiful. if I have never done any kind of sculpting, can i practice on a head or do i have to start with something very simple. is there a good book that shows you the basics on doing a head? you made it look easy, but i doubt if i tried that mine would even look like a head.

    6. Having an understanding of the muscles and structure of the face is the only way you’ll be able to sculpt like this. She shows the entire process so yes it is a tutorial. But the tutorial won’t do any good if you don’t study the human face and develop and understanding for it’s structure.

    7. In white countries when you force/coerce/ socially engineer IMMIGRATION, integration, tolerance & blending of races, in the end you have a non-white population left.just a matter of time. Its white genocide. “Genocide involves the attempt to achieve the disappearance of a group by whatever means. It does not have to be violent, it could be a combination of policies that would lead to a certain group dying out.” Fraser-PM Australia ’75-83M Fraser-PM of Australia 1975-83

    8. amazing, this is beautiful =) I love it, I’ve always loved sculpture and am to figure out if will take a course on it, after seeing this video I think I really made up my mind at last :DD this is what I love about it, this realism, and also the fact that I’m passionate of the scultpures of ancient Greece history =) really outstanding work <333

    9. The music was a pleasant part of this video and I like the presentation for the sculpture. Joanna is certainly masterful with her work, and certainly knows a pretty face when she makes one. lol! It is one of the finest things i have ever seen. Thanks for posting!

    10. Beautiful work , . . a real treat to watch.I was particularly intrigued by the way the face had such a “complete” look at each stage. Every step added to the whole, but there was never a point at which you could not have stopped.Lovely

    11. Oh wow. I’m making my first bust and I got so lost as to what to do so I came here and this…this was wildly helpful. It’s amazing how just watching someone who knows what they’re doing can help. Thank you so much for this demo!

    13. Hello, first let me just say your work is beyond incredible.. I had a question for you, I am trying to make a mask that goes over the headlight of my motorcycle and I was wondering if you had any input on a possible method to make it. it needs to be fairly strong and they are usually made from fiberglass however I was looking for some alternatives. It wont let me link you to an image :(. Any advice as to how I could begin sculpting this? materials I could use? Thank you so much!

    14. I have tried so hard to get the instrumental music on the background, but I could not find it. I did tried with the name given in a prior comment: Christian Dior Denim Flow, but instead I found some ugly music. Please no offense to those artists, but it is not even close to this angelical music.

    15. there are a myriad of other languages besides english. And when some person from France does a TUTORIAL, I’m sure they speak French. This is a “look how good I am, and maybe you can pick up a few pointers from watching me.” But a TUTORIAL it ain’t. A tutorial will TEACH you how to do something, not simply show off impressive skills to a sweeping piano and string melody. This person is extremely talented, but isn’t TEACHING shit. Its like trying to learn math by watching Good Will Hunting.

    19. This head making with clay tutorial was great and all, but it forgot one important part that would have been great to watch. THE EARS! You see every single part of the face being made and then – SHWOOP! Ears magically pop out. Le what?

    21. *Cough* Kind of looks like Gwneth Palthrow. *Cough* Sculpting seems less incredible when you see that being done like 15 times smaller. But then again, making pretty things is harder.Either way, out of my league and incredible.
